HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENT

LIVE ACTION PROJECT

- Finalize your story (if you haven't already done so)
- Finalize your actors and actresses
     - Age appropriate
     - Ethnicity appropriate
-6 Pages of character design
     - Based on the 3 characters you picked
     - Sketch on top of the actors and actresses photos
     - Design the outfits from both ends of the spectrum
        - From conservative to extreme (it's about generating range)

TIPS
- Play with proportion of costume elements (like sleeve length, buttons, lapels, collars, etc)
- Try out different fittings (loose, tight, athletic, relaxed, etc)
- If you're picking from a historical look, think of ways to change the proportion but still keep it feeling like it's from that era
- Think in 3 layers 
   - Skin layer (your character's body type, gender, etc)
   - Clothing layer
   - Accessories (could possible be things that define the person's job or a key element that defines that person)
- The hero should contrast with the villain, outfit-wise (if that's the characters you pick)
